SUNDAY 22nd MARCH 2009
We made daytime visits over three days to Dersingham Bog to view and photograph the daytime flying moth ORANGE UNDERWING http://www.norfolkmoths.co.uk
Park at TF662283 and walk to the John Denver Memorial Bench and look up into the tops of the birch trees.
We were successful all 3 days but got better photos on the third attempt.
Orange Underwing has not been recorded in the parish of Holme but it was good to see these moths.

Whilst we we at Dersingham Bog we saw a Great Grey Shrike, 7 crossbills in a nearby tree, peregrine, buzzard and 2 sparrowhawks.
